Trio Barclay Tickets

Trio Barclay brings a refined blend of violin, cello, and piano to the forefront of chamber music. Based in Orange County, California, this groundbreaking ensemble serves as the Ensemble-in-Residence at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, where they program intimate concerts that span from baroque masterpieces to living composers’ new works. The group features Dennis Kim on violin, Jonah Kim on cello, and Sean Kennard on piano, weaving together technical precision with expressive storytelling.

With a commitment to commissioning new repertoire each season, Trio Barclay expands the classical canon while honoring tradition. Their performances have graced stages nationwide, and their work on soundtrack projects demonstrates versatility beyond the concert hall.

Upcoming in 2025, Trio Barclay presents three Irvine, CA performances featuring world premieres and major works. On January 19, they explore Ravel and Yang; January 25 highlights Schubert, Yeung, and Beethoven; and May 18 showcases Arensky and Seyfried. In addition to live performances, they contributed to the documentary Defining Courage (Our America) as part of Disney+/Hulu content, expanding their reach into film music.
