Turnmusic is a cornerstone of living music in Vermont, founded in 2014 by Anne Decker. With a mission to uplift diverse, original, and fairly compensated artists, Turnmusic operates the TURNensemble and a house concert series, presenting innovative contemporary music across Vermont. The home base is The Phoenix Gallery & Music Hall in Waterbury, VT, where intimate performances connect artists with engaged audiences. Turnmusic expands through partnerships, touring, and seasonal New Music programming that highlights community access and representation.

Led by Anne Decker, Turnmusic champions artists through residencies, community programs like TURNyouth and Music in the Alley, and collaborations with world-class ensembles. Their 2025 season features a strong slate of live events, collaborations with New Amsterdam Records, and performances at venues across the region, including Barre Opera House, The Current in Stowe, and PS 21 in Chatham, NY.
