The University of Georgia Redcoat Band is the official marching band of the University of Georgia, founded in 1905. With a roster of 400+ student members drawn from across the campus, the Redcoat Band delivers high-energy performances at all UGA home football games, select road games (including the Georgia–Florida rivalry in Jacksonville), and bowl or post-season games. Recognized for musical and visual excellence, the ensemble was awarded the Sudler Trophy in 2000, becoming the first SEC school to receive this honor.
