UTEP Choirs: Songs We Live to Sing Tickets

UTEP Choirs brings together three distinct ensembles under one dynamic department: the auditioned Concert Chorale and Chamber Singers, plus the non-auditioned University Chorus. Based in El Paso, Texas, the program is known for its adventurous repertoire, collaborations with professional ensembles, and a tradition of new music commissions.

From intimate chamber works to grand symphonic collaborations, the UTEP Choirs offer a rich choral experience for singers and audiences alike. The groups regularly partner with the El Paso Opera and El Paso Symphony Orchestra, and have performed with ensembles like the Roswell Symphony Orchestra in New Mexico. In addition to performance, the department supports world premieres and commissions, including El Paso Requiem by Jorge Martin with EPSO and works by 9 Horses.

UTEP has sustained a biannual Leeds Cathedral residency in the UK since 2015, expanding international engagement and offering students performance opportunities abroad. A milestone in 2024 was the UTEP Choral Union’s performance at Carnegie Hall on March 17. Looking ahead, the 2025 calendar includes multi-city collaborations and festive programs with EPSO at Plaza Theatre and Magoffin Auditorium in El Paso.
