UTEP Chorale and Symphony Orchestra Tickets

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Chorale and Symphony Orchestra is the premier auditioned choral and orchestral program at UTEP. Under the direction of Choral Activities Director Elisa Fraser Wilson, D.M.A., this ensemble emphasizes new works through commissioning and high-level performance, frequently collaborating with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra (EPSO) and the El Paso Opera. The group regularly presents choral-orchestral programs that showcase expansive repertoire—from classical masterworks to contemporary commissions—while nurturing a vibrant community of student musicians and audiences in El Paso and the Southwest.

With a track record of national and regional performances, the UTEP Chorale frequently joins forces with EPSO for joint concerts, and the Choral Union even performed at Carnegie Hall in March 2024, marking a milestone for the program and the El Paso arts scene. The ensemble is known for its commitment to new music, multilingual works, and collaborative storytelling through sound.

Upcoming 2025 engagements include Space Odyssey with the EPSO at Plaza Theatre on October 17–18, 2025, a fall program on September 23 featuring the UTEP Chorale and Wind Symphony at Magoffin Auditorium, a festive Holiday Revels: Wonder on November 24, and A Christmas Fantasia with the EPSO on December 5–6. A world premiere history includes El Paso Requiem, commissioned for EPSO and UTEP with multilingual text and a rich performance life since its premiere around 2021–2022.
