Vaureen is a Brooklyn-born band known for its dark, dynamic sound that blends post-hardcore and experimental rock. Formed in the mid-2010s by Andrea Horne and Marianne Do, with later contributions from drummer Cale Hand, the group built a reputation through intimate live shows and a bold, evolving discography. Their early work, including the self-released Violence EP (November 18, 2016), set the stage for a broader creative arc that would lead to the 2018 LP Extraterra on Rising Pulse Records. In 2025, Vaureen released Leveler, an EP that widens their sonic scope and features Kellii Scott of Failure on drums and Michael MacIvor of Candiria on bass. The project maintains an active press and videography footprint across official channels and social networks, making it easy to follow new releases and visual content.
