Visiting Wine is a Boston-area acoustic folk rock project formed by Lindsey Sampson, Greg Daigle, and Jim McCann. Blending church-harmony-inspired vocal textures with Southern stomp and occasional heavier textures, the group crafts songs that feel intimate and expansive at once. Their debut album, Visiting Wine, arrived in July 2018 and quickly drew attention after a sold-out launch show at The Burren in Cambridge. Since then, the band has continued to release music under the Visiting Wine label, including the 2020 album Take Heart and 2024 single Light the Way, along with earlier singles I Believe You (2019) and Naomi (Return to Earth Remix) (2018). Based in the Boston area, Visiting Wine brings a live sound that translates across intimate venues and festival stages alike, with harmonies that fans describe as lush and precise.
