Founded in 2015 by Columbus natives Siwoo Kim (artistic director) and John Stulz (artistic director), VIVO aims to democratize classical music by presenting intimate, high-caliber performances across diverse venues and communities.

Season 11 (2025) showcased a range of programs—from immersive experiences like VIVO: Meditation and VIVO: Metamorphosis to community-forward events such as Beer & Beethoven and VIVO Next, with venues spanning Strongwater Food and Spirits, Timashev Recital Hall, Natalie’s Grandview, and the Southern Theatre. The festival collaborates with Chamber Music Columbus and other local partners to bring diverse audiences closer to world-class chamber music.
