Volodymyr Vynnytsky is a distinguished Ukrainian pianist and a prominent figure in contemporary classical music. Born February 8, 1955, in Lviv, Ukraine, he rose to international prominence after earning the Marguerite Long‑Jacques Thibaud International Piano Competition prize in Paris in 1983. Today, he performs globally as a solo pianist and as part of the Khoma‑Vynnytsky Duo with cellist Natalia Khoma.
