Waterloo Warriors Football has been a staple of Canadian university sports since 1957, proudly representing the University of Waterloo on the gridiron. Home games are played at Warrior Field in Waterloo, Ontario, where local fans cheer on a program with a storied past, including two Yates Cup championships (1997 and 1999). While the program faced a challenging 2010 season due to a steroid-related scandal, the Warriors remain a respected contender in Ontario University Athletics (OUA). As of October 10, 2025, the 2025 season record stands at 2-6, with a schedule featuring notable matchups against Ottawa Gee-Gees, Toronto Varsity Blues, Carleton Ravens, Laurier Golden Hawks, Queen's Gaels, Windsor Lancers, York Lions, and McMaster Marauders.
