Meet Whipped Cream - Ballet, the dynamic performer bringing the iconic two-act ballet Schlagobers to life on today’s stages. Originally choreographed by Heinrich Kröller in 1924 with music by Richard Strauss, the piece was reimagined for modern audiences by Alexei Ratmansky for American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in 2017. The new ABT production features striking sets and costumes by Mark Ryden, with its world premiere at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA, on March 15, 2017, and a New York premiere at the Metropolitan Opera House on May 22, 2017. As ABT continues to tour, this performer brings the same expressive intensity and technical precision that make Whipped Cream a staple of the company’s repertoire.
