Wild West Championship Wrestling (WWCW) was a Southwest United States wrestling promotion founded in 2006 by Scott Norton, a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and longtime WCW/nWo veteran. Operating primarily around Arizona, WWCW kicked off with a notable inaugural event on November 3, 2006, at Castle Sports Club in Phoenix, featuring a diverse roster that included Horshu (Luther Reigns), Train (A-Train), Frankie Kazarian, Romeo Roseli, the Ballard Brothers, Puma, Mike Barton, and Jonny Fairplay. While the promotion reportedly closed later in 2006, Norton continued to work in various circuits, carrying forward the WWCW legacy through his ongoing contributions to independent wrestling. This page provides a concise biography, career highlights, and a historically informed snapshot of WWCW’s impact on the Arizona wrestling scene.
