William R. Langley is a dynamic American conductor known for his leadership roles with major orchestras and youth programs. As the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Resident Conductor and ASYO Music Director, Langley guides contemporary and classical repertoire with clarity and energy. He also serves as Staff Conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, contributing to a broad repertoire and innovative concert experiences. Langley founded the Wolf River Chamber Orchestra in 2009 and the Memphis Repertory Orchestra in 2011, shaping regional orchestral ecosystems and recording multiple albums with the MRO. His work with the All of the Above Ensemble has earned international recognition, including Carnegie Hall debut performances in 2018 for the Double Portrait project.
