The Women’s Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) stands as one of the game’s most enduring professional circuits for women. Founded in 1976 by Madelyn Whitlow, Palmer Byrd, and Larry Miller, the WPBA established a structured touring schedule that elevated women’s billiards to a national stage. Today, the WPBA continues to run a seasonal tour featuring world‑ranking events, a year‑end Top 32 rankings list, and a Hall of Fame that honors the sport’s all‑time greats.
