Known in underground circles as a foundational figure in late 90s hip-hop, Yeshua DapoED – also billed as Yeshua (Yesh) or Yeshua daPoED – helped redefine how lyrical complexity and noir atmosphere could coexist with gritty, street-centered production. Partnering with Siah to form the duo Siah & Yeshua DapoED, they released The Visualz EP in 1996 on Fondle 'Em Records, a landmark release that continues to influence indie hip-hop culture. Over the years, Yeshua pursued solo projects, releasing Into Fresh Things and Shout in 2002, and later contributed to the broader catalog through performances and collaborations with groups like Wee Bee Foolish. His work has appeared on compilations such as The Visualz Anthology (2008) via Traffic Entertainment, preserving a critical archive of the duo’s material and related unreleased tracks. While public tour schedules can be sporadic, Yeshua has performed internationally, including shows in Colombia in 2019, underscoring his continued global footprint.
