Since 2004, Yesterday Swing Orchestra has been a centerpiece of Virginia’s Northern Shenandoah Valley music scene. This 18-piece big band specializes in 1930s–1950s standards—perfect for swing dances, waltzes, tangos, polkas, and romantic ballads. After the passing of founder Bob Johnson in 2022, the ensemble restructured to continue bringing big-band excitement to weddings, college dances, fundraisers, and community events across the Shenandoah Valley. Led by John Hudson (Vocalist/Narrator) and Victor Rohr (Music Director/Bass Trombone), the group remains dedicated to high-energy performances with a clean, classic sound.
