Welcome to 40th Street Theatre, a historic private‑event venue in downtown Omaha. Opened in 1915 as Hamilton Street Theatre and later known as Winn Theatre, it reopened as 40th Street Theatre on November 11, 1944 and was renovated and restored around 2016. Today, the venue offers two intimate spaces for gatherings: the main theatre (approximately 148 seats) and the Joyce Room (about 50 seats). With a capacity around 195 guests total, it’s well suited for weddings, concerts, intimate performances, and corporate or private events.
