With a trio of intimate spaces—the Playhouse Theater, the Experimental Theater, and the Underground Theater—Abrons hosts contemporary performances, dance, theater, and visual art programming. The venue has a storied history, tracing back to its former names such as Neighborhood Playhouse and Henry Street Playhouse, and continues to be a premier site for innovative work including PERFORMA and Off-Broadway productions.
