About Aiken Community Theatre

Welcome to Aiken Community Theatre (ACT), the heartbeat of downtown Aiken’s performing arts scene. Housed in the Amentum Center for the Performing Arts, ACT operates multiple stages, including the Mainstage and the Bechtel Experimental Theatre (Black Box). Since its founding as the Aiken Community Playhouse in 1952, ACT has offered an annual season of productions and special events that spotlight local talent and touring shows. The venue seats approximately 300 in the main auditorium, with a detailed seating diagram showing rows A–N and balcony.
