About Airbus IMax Theater

The Airbus IMAX Theater is the flagship IMAX experience at the National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia. Since its renaming in 2008, after Airbus Americas’ generous donation, the venue has continued to bring science and history to life with state-of-the-art imaging and immersive sound. Reopened on July 28, 2021, the theater features IMAX laser-projection and a 12-channel sound system for a truly cinematic encounter with aviation and space exploration.
