About Arta Gallery
Arta Gallery is a contemporary art gallery and commercial event space located in Toronto's Distillery District. With a versatile footprint, the venue accommodates a range of events—from intimate seated dinners to large standing receptions. The on-site floor plan supports up to 150 guests for cocktail-style gatherings, up to 90 for seated dinners, and up to 150 for standing events. For security and comfort, Arta provides on-site white folding chairs (approximately 110). While the floor plan details are available on the venue site, there isn’t a public interactive seating chart. This page covers everything you need to know to secure your date, plan logistics, and pair your event with nearby accommodations and dining options.
Located at Distillery District, 14 Distillery Lane (also listed as 55 Mill Street in some directories), Arta Gallery is easily accessible by TTC, with the 504 King streetcar serving the Distillery District. Public on-site parking is available, and the venue partners with established caterer Oliver & Bonacini for catering and event services. For guests traveling from out of town, nearby hotels include Shangri-La Toronto, Novotel Toronto Centre, and Cambridge Suites, among others.
