Originating from the iconic Avalon brand with deep local roots, the current Avalon site at 2525 9th Ave S represents a refreshed, modern setting after the relocation that began around 2014. The venue features multiple ballrooms and rooms to suit a range of guest counts and event types, including large-scale receptions and more intimate sessions.
Capacity & spaces
Millennium Ballroom: versatile standing room for 2,500+ guests. Prairie Rose: up to ~280 seated. Dakota: up to ~200 seated. Sheyenne: up to ~150 seated. Roosevelt Board Room: up to ~80 seated. New Space: up to 1,000 standing or 500 seated. Total venue capacity across spaces is up to about 2,500 for receptions.
