About Aviva Studios
Aviva Studios in Manchester is a multi-use arts venue that houses Factory International. Designed by Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), the complex comprises two distinct spaces—The Hall and The Warehouse—that can operate independently or join to form a single, versatile arena. Opened in autumn 2023 and renamed Aviva Studios in the same year as part of a sponsorship, the venue continues to attract a diverse lineup of live performances, exhibitions, and cultural events.
Whether you’re catching a theatre show, concert, or large-scale production, we’ve got you covered with practical details to help you secure your seats and plan a smooth visit from parking to dining nearby.
Location, capacity, and layout specifics for Aviva Studios vary by event. The Hall is a tiered theatre/concert space with around 1,600 seats or 2,000 standing in flexible configurations. The Warehouse offers a large flexible footprint (up to 5,000 standing in some setups) and can be connected with The Hall for bigger productions. For the best access, consider the nearby Water Street Car Park (≈350m) and NCP Spinningfields (≈400m), with Blue Badge spaces along Water Street and Quay Street.
