The venue was rebuilt and reopened in 2009 as The Civic, featuring refreshed spaces and a renewed commitment to the arts. The Eldon Street entrance provides convenient access for visiting companies and patrons, with recent reopenings in 2025 ensuring modern facilities and improved accessibility.
