About Belleayre Mountain
Welcome to Belleayre Mountain, a state-operated ski center managed by ORDA in the heart of the Catskills. With 61 trails, 8 lifts, a 1,404-foot vertical, and approximately 174 skiable acres, Belleayre offers a reliable year-round destination for skiing, riding, and outdoor fun. The mountain features Discovery Lodge for beginners and the Overlook Lodge for intermediate and advanced skiers. While the Overlook Lodge is undergoing renovations, access may be limited to locker holders, so plan ahead. Belleayre also hosts summer activities like the Catskill Thunder Gondola and a calendar of live events, including Free Music on the Belle and Mountain Jam, making it a versatile venue for locals and visitors alike.
Parking is free daily with premier parking adjacent to the Overlook Base Area for a fee. A continuous Belleayre Shuttle connects Discovery Lodge, Overlook Lodge, and the parking lots for easy transport across the mountain. Daily capacity limits apply for lift tickets, lessons, and rentals, and some services may sell out online in advance. Belleayre is cashless, so plan to use card payments where possible.
