About Brickyard Crossing Golf Course

Brickyard Crossing Golf Course sits along the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) grounds in Speedway, near downtown Indianapolis. Designed by Pete Dye, this 18-hole course features four holes inside the famous oval and 14 outside. While the course is closed for the 2025 season, plans are in place for a 2026 reopening. The venue has hosted prestigious PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour events over the years, including the 500 Festival Open, 500 Ladies Classic, Comfort Classic, and the Indy Women in Tech Championship. While there is no traditional stadium seating on-site, spectator viewing for events happens on mounds and stands around IMS, with LPGA events providing specific seating charts for optimal viewing.

Whether you’re planning a visit for a future tournament or simply curious about the venue’s history, this page covers viewing considerations, parking and transit options, and nearby hotel and dining recommendations to help you plan a smooth trip to the Brickyard Crossing area.

As you plan your visit, remember that IMS manages parking across multiple lots (such as Lot 3G and the Main Gate), with typical parking costs in standard lots. ADA access and race-day shuttles are available for major events. While Brickyard Crossing Inn on-site lodging no longer exists, Speedway and downtown Indianapolis offer a range of hotels and dining options. We’ve highlighted affiliate partner recommendations to help you secure convenient accommodations and dining close to the action.
