About Canso Sportsplex
The Canso Sportsplex is the community hub for sports, events, and gatherings in Canso, Nova Scotia. Located at 103 Queen Street, the venue serves as a winter arena and a multipurpose facility during the off-season. In 2021, operation of the arena was transferred to the Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG). As part of a broader redevelopment, a 2,000 sq ft fitness-centre addition and new entrance were planned for the 2024–2025 period. The adjacent StanFest site (Stan Rogers Folk Festival) adds to the area’s cultural appeal with onsite camping for attendees. Whether you’re catching a local game or a festival performance, here’s what you need to know to secure your seats and plan your trip.
