Capricorn Sound Studios is a storied, multi-purpose music venue located in the heart of downtown Macon along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The complex comprises four buildings (530, 536, 540, 548 MLK) and houses Capricorn Sound Studios, a newer Studio B designed for larger-scale recording and performances, a museum, and a music incubator. Since its restoration and reopening as Mercer Music at Capricorn in 2019–2020, the venue has hosted iconic acts and continues to host intimate performances as well as larger shows in Studio B.
