  • Great Hall capacity around 1,500 (Cardiff Students' Union) to 1,600 (Cardiff University page); located in the Cardiff Students' Union building, with entrance on Senghennydd Road.
  • Y Plas capacity 1,000–1,200; multi-room live music venue accessed from Park Place; used for club nights and gigs.
  • The Taf is the on-site pub of the Cardiff Students' Union, hosting regular events in the second floor complex.
  • Union address: Cardiff Students' Union, Park Place, Cardiff CF10 3QN (Senghennydd Road entrance also used).
  • Seating/chart: The Great Hall operates as standing general admission (approx. 1,500) with two large seated accessible balconies; balcony bookings handled via Cardiff Box Office accessibility system.
  • Parking: On-campus visitor parking with pre-bookable PAYG bays (RingGo); locations include Senghennydd, Maindy Road, Column Drive, Bute & Glamorgan, Redwood, Queens, Senghennydd, etc.; rates around £3 for half-day and £6 for full day.
  • Transit: Cathays Park is in central Cardiff; Cathays Station is adjacent to the Union; Cardiff Central Station users can walk ~25 minutes to the campus; good bus links available.
  • Nearby hotels (within a 10–15 minute walk): Hotel Indigo Cardiff (Dominion’s Arcade), Hilton Cardiff, Park Plaza Cardiff, and Jurys Inn Cardiff (Park Place).
