Venue overview: Central Bank Center is a connected complex that includes Rupp Arena and the Lexington Opera House. It’s adjacent to two downtown hotels—Hyatt Regency Lexington and Hilton Lexington/Downtown—providing convenient lodging for guests attending events at the venue. The arena and opera house host a wide range of programming, from NCAA tournaments and major concerts to expos and regional events.

Seating and capacity: Rupp Arena features configurable seating for different event types. General sessions range from 2,500 to 22,000 seats, basketball configurations accommodate ~20,500 spectators, and concerts can reach up to about 23,000. Parking: There are more than 10,000 parking spaces within a 10-minute walk of Central Bank Center, including 1,800 on-site spaces. Daily max parking is about the best available price plus tax, with special-event rates up to the best available price. Prepaid parking options are available to simplify your arrival.

Transit: Lextran operates downtown routes with around 25 fixed bus routes. The Downtown Transit Center on Vine Street serves as a central hub for riders. Recent renovations (2025–2026) have enhanced the efficiency and accessibility of downtown transit, making it easier to reach the venue by bus.

Nearby hotels and dining: The Hyatt Regency Lexington and Hilton Lexington/Downtown are immediately adjacent, offering a combined approximate total of 700 rooms for guests.
