CityPlace Expo Center sits in the heart of La Grange, Kentucky, just off I-71 and about 25 miles north of downtown Louisville. The venue features flexible spaces for every occasion — Pavilion 1, Pavilion 2, and The Plaza outdoor area — making it a versatile choice for conferences, trade shows, weddings, and community events. Note: CityPlace continues to operate as CityPlace Expo Center. Some listings may refer to it as CityPlace Convention Center, but the official name is CityPlace Expo Center.
Seating configurations are designed to fit your event style. Pavilion 1 can host up to 230 seated at round tables or 330 in a lecture setup. Pavilion 2 accommodates up to 400 seated at round tables or 600 in lecture format. For outdoor gatherings, The Plaza provides up to 1,400 seats with a built-in water feature and sound system. Parking includes handicap spaces adjacent to the venue, with additional public parking nearby offering roughly 500 spaces. While CityPlace does not guarantee exclusive parking, valet can be arranged through a contract. For guests arriving by car, CityPlace is easily accessible via I-71 and is roughly 25 miles from Louisville. We’ve included affiliate hotel and restaurant partners to simplify your planning.
