About CocoonClub
Welcome to CocoonClub, a storied Frankfurt techno venue located in the U.F.O. building in Fechenheim. Opened in 2004 and founded by Sven Väth, CocoonClub became a cornerstone of electronic music, hosting legendary names and shaping the city’s nightlife. Today, the space is known for its distinctive Cocoon seating and immersive club atmosphere, with rooms that have welcomed top DJs and countless club-goers over the years. While the original Cocoon era saw a renaming and shift in venue usage, the Cocoon branding recently returned for a one-night event in 2025, continuing the legacy in Frankfurt’s club culture. This page covers seating, access, parking, transit, and nearby hotel and dining options to help you plan a great night out in the city.
Whether you’re a local or visiting Frankfurt, securing your tickets to events associated with Cocoon branding or similar techno nights in the U.F.O. building area is straightforward when you know the layout and transport options. Public transit services the area with Bus Carl-Benz-Straße Nord and Tram lines 11/12 on Dieselstraße, making it convenient to reach from the central districts. While there isn’t a published, public seating chart for the original CocoonClub layout, the venue historically featured wall-embedded 'Cocoons' seating and a dual-restaurant setup, Silk and Micro, for meals and socializing before or after shows. Nearby, Motel One Frankfurt-East Side offers comfortable stays with easy access to major sights and nightlife.
