Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is a vibrant public urban park in downtown Tampa, spanning about 8 acres along the Hillsborough River. Opened in 2010 and named after civic leaders Curtis Hixon and his wife, the park features a flexible event space with a Great Lawn, terraced seating areas, fountains, splash pads, a playground, and a dog park. Its amphitheater-like setup and river views make it a premier location for festivals, concerts, and community gatherings. The park connects directly to the Tampa Riverwalk, offering scenic strolls before or after events.
