Located near the Preston Road and I-635 corridor, this area is transforming from former retail space into a multi-use district with shopping, dining, offices, and entertainment venues. While no dedicated venue exists yet on the Valley View Center site, the district is actively developing with plans for a 6-story residential building, new retail, and a potential future arena and transit connections. Seating, Parking & Venue Information
- Valley View Center, located at Preston Rd and I-635 in north Dallas, was demolished by 2023 as part of the Dallas Midtown redevelopment.
- The district has been branded in various ways, including Dallas Midtown and Dallas International District, with name changes and branding evolving over time.
- Premier at Dallas Midtown began construction on November 21, 2025; a six-story building with 296 apartments and roughly 13,500 sq ft of ground-floor retail, targeted to open in 2027–2028, at the southwest corner of Dilbeck Lane and Preston Road.
- The broader 110-acre master plan envisions hotels, offices, a park (about 20 acres) and entertainment venues as the district develops.
- A proposed automated tram system is planned to connect Dallas Midtown with the Galleria; a DART rail connection has been discussed in district planning.
- There has been talk of a Mavericks or Stars arena at the Valley View site, but no venue exists yet as of February 2026.
