Dareshack is a flexible live-arts venue housed in the Vintry Building on Wine Street, right in the heart of Bristol. Since its opening in early 2022, the space has offered a dynamic mix of live music, talks, and club nights within a 4,000 sq ft footprint. The venue is known for its adaptable layout—no fixed seating—with standing gigs and cabaret-style arrangements that can accommodate around 140 to 200 guests, depending on the event setup. Dareshack earned acclaim as the first UK music/arts venue to install a permanent d&b Soundscape system, providing immersive sound for audiences. When you’re looking to catch a show or a spoken-word night, we’ve got you covered with an intimate, versatile setting in central Bristol.

Getting to Dareshack is straightforward from central Bristol. Parking is available nearby, and the venue sits within easy reach of good bus routes. It’s roughly a 10-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station, making it convenient for visiting performers and out-of-town guests. While Dareshack’s main site remains at the Vintry Building, the venue moved its business address to Queen Square in 2025. Nearby hotels and dining options help you plan a full evening out—Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel on Broad Street and Hotel du Vin Bristol City Centre on Narrow Lewins Mead are within walking distance.
