About Drive-In St. Louis At POWERplex
Drive-In St. Louis, originally a drive-in venue inside the former St. Louis Mills Mall, has a storied history of outdoor events and large-scale gatherings. The site is now Hazelwood Business Park, repurposed from Powerplex STL’s youth and sports complex to a modern industrial and office hub. While the venue’s traditional drive-in layout and car-based seating aren’t tied to fixed seats, the space remains a reference point for community events and transformative redevelopments in Hazelwood.
Whether you’re researching past drive-in concerts, planning a future large-scale graduation ceremony, or looking for nearby accommodations and dining, we’ve got you covered with practical details and trusted partner recommendations to help you secure your event experience with ease.
Important notes: The POWERplex site closed on May 1, 2023 and has since been redeveloped into Hazelwood Business Park. Historically, the venue could host up to about 450 cars for drive-in concerts, with planning discussions for thousands of attendees during graduation events. Transit access is limited, with proximity to major highways I-270 and Highway 370, making driving the primary mode of transportation. Parking operates on a per-car basis in the lot, consistent with classic drive-in setups. For accommodations and meals, we recommend nearby hotels and neighborhood dining options, including affiliate partner visits to secure convenient lodging and dining arrangements during events. Always verify current event details and logistics with the event host or venue partner prior to arrival.
