  • Original use: Edison Theatre (Broadway) inside the Hotel Edison; opened 1931, later named Arena Theatre (1950), then returned to a ballroom; final theatre closure in 1991 with seats removed and converted to a ballroom.
  • Current configuration and capacity: Edison Ballroom main space ~17,000 sq ft with 250–1,000 seated (theater/cocktail setups); Edison Ballroom South ~4,500 sq ft; Edison Rooftop ~4,500 sq ft (capacities vary by setup).
  • Notable history: Hosted Oh! Calcutta! from 1976 to 1989 (5,959 performances) at the Edison Theatre; space later renovated and rebranded as Edison Ballroom (reopened around 2008).
