About El Dorado Conference Center
Welcome to El Dorado Conference Center, a versatile multi-purpose venue located on the South Arkansas Community College campus at 311 S West Ave in El Dorado, Arkansas. Whether you’re planning a convention, a wedding reception, or a corporate meeting, the center offers scalable spaces and a convenient downtown location just steps from parking and local amenities.
Murphy Hall and the surrounding facilities offer a combined capacity suitable for a range of events: banquet setups up to 1,000 guests, theater configurations up to 2,500, and a 10,590 square-foot Murphy Hall that can be partitioned into three separate halls. The building is part of the SouthArk campus, with a dedicated circle driveway for easy drop-off and campus parking to accommodate attendees.
As your local resource, we’ve got you covered for securing spaces, understanding layout options, and coordinating nearby accommodations and dining to keep your event running smoothly.
Location and access: El Dorado Conference Center sits at 311 S West Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730. Parking on the SouthArk campus is available for guests, with a circular driveway for convenient drop-off. Downtown El Dorado can experience limited parking during major MAD events, so planning ahead around peak times is advised. Seating and configuration: Murphy Hall can be divided into three separate spaces and configured for banquets, theaters, or classroom-style setups. The updated floorplan provides scalable options to fit your event size and audience needs. For a visual reference, see the UPDATED ECC FLOORPLAN.png on the venue site.

We frequently partner with area hotels and restaurants to offer convenient packages and trusted recommendations for pre-event gatherings, after-parties, or guest blocks. For dining, you’ll find a range of local eateries and nearby casual spots to suit any taste. For the best experience, we’ll connect you with affiliate hotel and restaurant partners to secure preferred rates and seamless logistics.
Getting around: In addition to on-campus parking, MAD events downtown may attract heavier traffic and limited parking—plan additional time for arrivals and departures.
