The Elgin Performing Arts Center, commonly known as the Hemmens, is a cornerstone of Elgin's cultural scene. Located at 45 Symphony Way, Elgin, IL 60120, the Hemmens hosts a diverse lineup—from touring artists to concerts and community events. The venue offers a variety of seating options to suit different preferences, including a Main Floor, Golden Circle, Premium seats in the first rows, Main, and Balcony sections. With a main theatre capacity of 1,200 and a theatre-in-the-round capacity just under 300, there are flexible configurations for performances and events. The Hemmens also features an expansive Exhibition Hall on the lower level, ideal for banquets, gallery shows, and meetings.
