Elon University (formerly Elon College) sits at 100 Campus Drive, Elon, NC 27244. The university’s flagship performance and athletic venues include Schar Center (opened 2018), home to basketball, volleyball, and major campus events, seating 5,100. The Center for the Arts houses McCrary Theatre (575 seats), Yeager Recital Hall (125 seats), Black Box Theatre (100 seats), and Roberts Studio Theatre (approximately 200 seats). Historic Whitley Auditorium (opened 1924) remains a notable part of Elon’s campus, now complemented by modern facilities. For visitors, designated parking with visitor permits via Campus Safety and the Elon Express campus shuttle provide easy access around campus.
