Garage on Beck, a storied Salt Lake City venue located at 1199 N Beck St, has long served as a 21+ roadhouse grill and stage with an outdoor patio and an intimate indoor performance space. Known for its Americana and rock acts, the venue hosted a three-day farewell festival in May 2025, called The Last Dance, featuring around 30 acts. The building dates back to 1947 and has a evolving history, including time as Rose’s Jimax Lounge/Jimax Lounge before becoming The Garage on Beck in 2008. While the building is slated for demolition following a May 31, 2025 closure, the venue’s legacy as a live music hub in Salt Lake City remains.
