Gigantium, officially known as Sparekassen Danmark Arena since 2021, is Aalborg’s premier multi-purpose sports and events center. Located at Willy Brandts Vej 31, 9220 Aalborg Øst, Denmark, the venue combines an arena, ice rink, swimming and wellness facilities, plus conference spaces. Opened in 1999 and expanded multiple times (renovation in 2003; expansions in 2007, 2011, and 2014), Gigantium has hosted major national and international events including the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (2006–2015) and European Handball Championships.
