About Grand Prix of Markham

The Grand Prix of Markham is the new home for the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham, a high-speed NTT INDYCAR SERIES street race set in the heart of Markham Centre. From August 14–16, 2026, a purpose-built street circuit will weave through downtown Markham, featuring 12 turns over a 3.52-km (2.19-mile) layout. This multi-year relocation of the historic Toronto IndyCar event brings top-level racing to a vibrant city with robust transit options, ample parking plans, and nearby hotels and dining that are ready to welcome race fans.

We’ve got you covered with practical details to help you plan: how to get there, where to park, where to stay, and where to dine — all in one place. As your go-to connection for tickets and logistics, we’ll keep you in the loop on seating options and viewing areas once a formal map is released by organizers.

Note: The official seating map for Markham is still to be posted. Standard grandstands and seating options will be announced as race weekend approaches. Plan ahead for road closures and permit-free access through GO Transit, Viva Rapid Transit, and local shuttles. The event expects roughly 140,000–150,000 attendees over the three days, so secure your seats early through trusted sources.
