About Granville Arts Center

Granville Arts Center is Garland’s city-owned hub for live performance and cultural events, housing multiple spaces within one historic complex. Located at 300 N Fifth Street, Garland, TX 75040, the center supports a rich slate of concerts, theatre, and community programs.

With dedicated spaces like Brownlee Auditorium, Small Theatre, Plaza Theatre, and the Atrium, Granville Arts Center offers flexible layouts for everything from intimate plays to grand productions. The venue is a staple for regional arts, hosting Garland Summer Musicals, the Garland Symphony Orchestra, and a variety of business and cultural events in the Plaza Theatre.

Whether you’re a local or visiting the Dallas–Fort Worth area, you’ll find convenient access, ample parking, and nearby dining options to complement your night out.

Parking is complimentary in adjacent lots and two garages behind City Hall (5th Street Crossing and Austin Street). The center sits adjacent to the DART Downtown Garland Station on the Blue Line, making rail travel a practical option for guests from across the metro area.

Renamed on February 4, 2003 from Garland Performing Arts Center to Granville Arts Center, the venue is slated for renovations under the 2025 Grow Garland Bond Program (2026–2028), with potential temporary space reconfigurations during upgrades. For planners, event organizers, and attendees, Granville Arts Center offers reliable, flexible spaces and a straightforward, friendly ticketing experience.

Seating capacity varies by space: Brownlee Auditorium seats 720, Small Theatre seats 200, Plaza Theatre seats 350, and the Atrium banquet setup accommodates up to ~500 (roughly 450 with standard banquet seating). For performance-specific seating details, check the seating chart and venue listings, and secure your seats early for popular performances.
