With a mainstage capacity of approximately 365 seats, the venue offers a diverse season including mainstage productions, family-friendly Kiddstuff shows, and year‑round events. Hangar Theatre has a rich history dating back to its origins as the Ithaca Repertory Theatre and later as Hangar Theatre Company since 1978. The theatre completed major renovations around 2010, with state funding announced in 2025 to support ongoing improvements. Located at 801 Taughannock Blvd., Ithaca, NY 14850, the venue sits just inside the Treman Marina entrance to Cass Park, offering convenient access for locals and visitors alike.
