About Heist Brewery

Heist Brewery operates across two vibrant Charlotte spaces—NoDa and Barrel Arts—each offering distinct settings for craft beer lovers, private events, and community gatherings. NoDa hosts regular Run Club, trivia, and other community events, while Barrel Arts provides larger private-hire options and on-site catering via Talon. Whether you’re planning a casual night out, a private happy hour, or a multi-part event, Heist makes it simple to secure your seats or book a space. We’ve outlined what to expect at each venue, parking, transit access, and nearby hotel and dining options to help your planning stay straightforward.

Note: NoDa experienced a fire in July 2024, with plans for a spring/summer 2025 reopening and limited operations. Barrel Arts remains open and active, including events like the Heist Halloween Market. For guests arriving by transit, NoDa is accessible via bus lines 23 and 3 and is near LYNX Blue Line stops at Sugar Creek and 36th Street. If you’re coordinating a larger gathering, private taproom or hire space at Barrel Arts can accommodate up to 125 guests with on-site Talon catering. Nearby hotels such as Aloft Charlotte City Center and Kasa Cortland NoDa provide convenient stays for out-of-town attendees. For beer lovers who want to explore more, Distro Beer Hub in South End (opened 2025) features a Heist stall and other NC brewers.
