About Henley Grandstand
The Henley Grandstand is a historic, Grade II listed structure on Marlow Road in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Originating in 1913 for the Henley Royal Regatta, the grandstand has been refurbished and remains a protected heritage asset. Within the Henley Royal Regatta enclosures, the Stewards' Enclosure features two grandstands, while the Regatta Enclosure offers an open grandstand for general viewing. The Grandstand is not demolished or renamed and remains a key feature of Henley’s sporting and festival scene.
For festival-goers, the Festival Grandstand at Leander Club (Leander Club, Henley-on-Thames RG9 2LP) provides undercover seating across multiple sections, with a dedicated seating plan to suit different viewing preferences. Whether you’re attending the Regatta or the Festival, we’ve got your options covered—from secure seating to convenient parking and nearby stays.
Plan ahead with easy transport options. The nearest rail access is Henley-on-Thames station, a short walk from event entrances, with walking times noted for festival access. Car parks operate with generous hours for the Regatta (07:30–21:00) and festival days (opening from 4pm).
