About Hertz Hall

Hertz Hall is a compact on-campus concert venue managed by UC Berkeley’s Department of Music and home to Cal Performances and campus ensembles. Located at 101 Cross-Sproul Path in Berkeley, this intimate space hosts a range of performances, from professional ensembles to free noontime recitals noted in official materials. The venue uses a One Price, All Sections layout, with a detailed seating map available through Cal Performances.

Parking is straightforward with Underhill Parking Lot serving donor parking and several nearby lots including Lower Sproul, Telegraph-Channing Garage, and RSF Garage. A shuttle service supports donor parking in Underhill Lot during 2025–26. For transit, directions and planning resources reference BART lines (Richmond and Concord) and multiple AC Transit routes, with general planning via 511.
