Higher Ground is a premier dual-room live music venue located at 1214 Williston Rd in South Burlington, just outside Burlington, Vermont. Comprised of a Ballroom (approximately 750 capacity) and the Showcase Lounge (about 300 capacity), the venue offers a diverse array of in-house bookings and touring acts. Most shows are standing-room with limited perimeter seating, making it a dynamic space for energetic performances and intimate experiences alike.

From legendary acts like Moe and Wilco’s Solid Sound to contemporary favorites such as Mt. Joy, Henry’s in-house programming and HG PRESENTS events consistently deliver memorable nights. While relocation plans to the Burton Snowboards campus were canceled in 2024, Higher Ground remains a cornerstone of the Williston Road music scene through 2026.

Parking is limited at Higher Ground. You can typically find street parking in front or in the east-side lot. Please avoid the Zachary's Pizza lot to prevent towing. Note that 2025 service changes may affect access to South Burlington’s city center—check current GMT schedules for the latest routes and times.
