Welcome to the International Center of Photography (ICP) venue page. Located at 84 Ludlow Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, ICP opened its unified campus in 2020, bringing together its galleries, learning programs, and public spaces in a single, accessible location. We’ve got you with practical details to help you plan your visit, from seating and event capacities to parking, transit, and nearby places to stay and eat. Note: ICP’s prior Bowery location is no longer in operation as a museum space. The Lower East Side campus hosts current and future events, including notable exhibitions and annual programs like ICP Photobook Fest and the ICP Holiday Market.

Venue spaces at ICP offer flexible configurations for exhibitions and events, with the Essex & Ludlow Galleries accommodating up to 400 people standing, the 3rd Floor Gallery capable of 300 standing or 200 seated, and the ICP Café/Shop/Lobby with a responsive capacity around 80. For planners and event partners, ICP’s campus is well-served by multiple transportation options and nearby accommodations.   • Location: ICP's museum is at 84 Ludlow Street, New York, NY 10002; mailing/legal address is 79 Essex Street.
  • Venue type and spaces: ICP includes the ICP Café/Shop/Lobby (capacity 80), Essex & Ludlow Galleries (up to 400 standing), and 3rd Floor Gallery (300 standing, 200 seated).
  • Transit access: By subway (J/M/Z to Essex Street; F to Delancey; B/D to Grand Street) and by bus (M9, M14A, etc.).
  • Parking: Nearby municipal parking is available at Delancey/Essex (105-113 Essex St), with 357 spaces; NYC DOT notes rates and hours.
